Lenten 2011 Reminders to members & prayer warriors
TO : All Active Members / Prayer Warriors
RE : LENTEN 2011
DATE : March 2, 2011
Greetings!
As the season of Lent approaches, let us prepare ourselves for this very important celebration of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Christ.
We, as baptized members of the Catholic Church, active in promoting the spiritual battle against satan who is the devil, the enemy of souls, the enemy of the Church and the enemy of Christ, must be well-aware of the importance of the Victimhood of Christ in the ministry of Healing and Deliverance. It is in this light that I would like to enjoin us altogether in one unified action to offer prayers and sacrifices right at the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday, March 9, 2011 to last until Easter.
These are the few basic suggestions for all of us for the entire duration of Lent:
DAILY:
- Fasting & Abstinence (those who are unable, try M.W.F.)
- Daily Holy Rosary with Prayer to St.Michael at the end (anytime of day)
- Liturgy of the Hour (morning, evening and nighttime)
- Holy Mass (if possible) (recitation of Prayer to St.Michael every after Mass)
- Any 40-day Reflective Reading for Lent
WEEKLY:
- Way of the Cross (any chosen day of the week BUT preferably Fridays)
(may be done in private areas but Church or chapel is preferred)
- Deliverance Prayer - Simple Exorcism (from St.Michael’s Book of Deliverance) (pref.Friday night)
- Visit to Adoration Chapel (silent & meditative reading and praying) (any day of the week)
MONTHLY:
- Sacrament of Reconciliation (minimum once every month for the months of March & April)
- Lenten Recollection / Retreat (at least once for the entire duration of Lent)
Please note that these are not intended to replace your usual regular prayers & devotions especially those mandated by your other Church/Religious groups.
For our every prayer and sacrifices let us include the following intentions:
- Healing & Deliverance from Every Evil of the ff:
- entire KSB team (Spiritual Adviser Fr.Virgilio Ramos, all members, prayer warriors and respective families)
- all names on list for Healing & Deliverance
- your own local parish priests and bishops
- your own immediate family members, relatives, friends & love-ones
- Eternal Repose of All Souls in Purgatory (specifically mentioning the names of those known to us)
- Invocation of our favorite angels, martyrs & saints especially those known in the Healing and Deliverance Ministry and those in the Special Ministry of Savings Souls in Purgatory (eg. St.Benedict, St.Pio, St.John Bosco, St.John Ma.Vianney, St.John of the Cross, St.Francis of Assissi, St.Therese of Child Jesus, St.Gemma Galgani, St.Joseph, St.Gertrude the Great, St.Nicholas de Tolentino, etc.)

Advent Retreat and Recollection - Fr. Armand Robleza
Don Bosco Batulao Advent Retreat with Fr. Armand Robleza will officially start directly after 7 am breakfast Dec 4 at DB Batulao. Retreatants have the option to come in Friday night after dinner so they can unwind for the retreat. --BUT please advise me if you will do so, so I can alert the security staff at Batulao.
The cost of the Retreat is P2500 per head, single occupancy per room. Some retreatants prefer a roommate, and you may request for one, but the rate will be the same.
Your name on my list is just that -- until you make a 50% downpayment (as requested by Batulao) you are not officially confirmed a slot at the retreat. In this case, it is first paid, first reserved. :-) sorry.
You may contact me directly if you prefer to pay cash, (I work in Makati) -- or make a deposit to BPI c/a 0320-0007-26 under the name Fr. Armand Robleza. Advise me of your deposit and send me a soft copy of your deposit slip (am still looking for a fax number if you prefer fax) as proof of deposit.
[Request for] a map to Batulao in case you need it. If you prefer to drive up with a companion or are willing to take in passengers, let me know so I can arrange a carpool. let me know how many passengers you can take, and where you prefer to pick up. I will be passing on cellphone nos. unless you tell me otherwise.
At Batulao you may need the following:
- personal items- including toiletries and medicines (although there are some items for sale in case you forgot something, best to be sure you have it with you)
- journal and pen
- bible (although there will be some available for borrowing) - Fr uses the New American Bible, in case you're wondering, but any will do for your personal reflection.
- flash light (just in case)
- jacket (can be cool),
- comfortable foot wear (since you will be climbing up and down a lot)
We used to have a retreat registration form particularly for other retreats when a little more information is salient, but for this particular kind of retreat -- all I need to know is your contact no., gender, and your age --(for Fr.'s demographics)
Recollection - Nov 27, 2010, Saturday at the Chapel, San Miguel Corp Head Office along San Miguel Ave., Ortigas Center, Pasig City (between SM Megamall and Tektite Towers).
Registration starts at 8 am, a registration fee of P100 will be collected then all I would need is your name for the Security List. For your convenience, you may need to know the ff:
- The registration does not include lunch, for which you will be given a break, the most convenient place is at Megamall
- You will be asked to check your name at the gate when you come back in the afternoon.
- There will be mass at the end of the recollection

No to occultism!
Be warned! These groups does not bring real healing and deliverance. Real healing and deliverance isn't just a healing of body or physical ailments. The Catholic Church looks more on the fruits of healing beyond physical healing. The healing of one's soul is of utmost importance. Does the person become closer to God and to the Church? Does he become faithful to the Law? Does he become more prayerful? Evidence of formation and transformation must be seen in the healing process.
Some sites call themselves paranormal investigators, spirit questors, psychics, etc. These are very rampant especially during feasts of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. They twist the meaning of these feasts to horror which they call halloween. These groups and their practices are evil.
One, because they are forbidden by the Church. The Catholic faithful are expected to display holiness in obedience. Disobedience is of satan. Disobedience is pride. And the author of pride is satan.
Two, because these groups lead the people away from the true teachings of the Church. They bring about confusion and curiosity to evil, which are two of the most effective tactics of the devil to infest people. They snatch people away from the Church. People who buy their false teachings and practices tend to put the Church behind their ordeal, deeming the Church unimportant. Of course they would not appear directly as such. But their beliefs, actions, words and practices would be enough proof that they operate independently from the Church. The Church whom Christ Himself built has the full and absolute authority over the enemies of souls.
One site posted their schedule of meeting to discuss their passion in occultism. Let's pray for these people that they may be freed from their bondage with evil. Warn your friends and relatives. Let's stand up for God and for His Church, the Catholic Church.
Saint Benedict, pray for us.
Saint Michael the archangel, pray for us.
Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.
Holy Trinity, One God, deliver us from evil. Amen.
